Coulomb’s law on Sunday

On Sunday evening when I was lying on bed I was thinking about Coulomb’s law. I didn’t remember what was about this law then I’ve decided to learn more about it:

culomb-law
Yea Coulomb’s law! is interesting that’s why i did simulation of two particles, first was charged with positive charge and second was negative. On image Coulomb’s law from Eulerian view, left side of field is positive charge one right negative.

Particles with different charges, red are positive, blue are negative:

Below we can see Electric Scalar Field and gradient of this function.

Welcome! welcome in 21th century, try to share geometry between 3D softwares.

Now it’s 21th century and I can’t imagine there is no node in Maya responsible for read and write obj geometry cache. Maybe guys from Autodesk forgot about it.
I need simple node to share geometry between softwares, but with out infinity number of transforms/shapes… it’s incredible slows Maya down…
I’ve decided to write my own node. It’s based on obj format, it can read, write obj sequence. It has few interesting options: obj sequence can be converted to binary format, it increases speed, also it’s available geometry interpolation between frames so we can re-time geometry cache.
Check this out:

I’ll publish plugin soon.

On Faraday’s Lines of Force…

opencl_fields
I’ve decided to learn more about scalar and vector fields, how does it work, how to compute gradient of scalar field, divergence, curl. So I’ve implemented simple vector field and scalar field, my goal is to understand divergent free noise. Everything I wrote in OpenCL.

Finally Tuba TV is finished!

Yea after year of pain it’s finished. My job was: procedural cracks, simulation, shaders, rendering, composition. That’s all! Enjoy ;)

best,

procedural gothic window…

I’ve built procedural gothic window. It’s possible to control height, width depth, number of shutters and window curvature… I hate modeling…
